On a whole, I feel like i enjoy MH more when made by the non-portable team, i like the additions the portable team made a lot, even wirebug (if only for movment) but their games feel stretched thin if that makes sense, there's a lot or at least not much less than main series but it doesn't feel all that deep. P3rd (mizu didn't work so they made zinogre)įU (ah yes hitboxes that are actually boxes) mhgu just didn't click with me, I beat it but it didn't do much after athal ka.Įven 4U which I regarded as my favorite for a Majority of the time I played MH is just kinda clunky, none of the games are bad though, since to be bad they gotta ruin MH at it's core somehow. mhgen endgame was cursed as fuck having only deviants and hypers, deviants being bad due to the questing system, and I don't think I need to explain hypers. I would have to say MHW iceborne is my favorite MH game as of writing this, rise is nice but it's about equal to MHW without iceborne, even in terms of endgame. Looking back on it now, after quite a while and after playing rise and thinking about the other MH games.
